1數詞的分類與構成

數詞可以分成兩類：基數詞、序數詞。基數詞表示數目，序數詞表示順序。

1.1-12

基數詞 序數詞

1 one 1st first

2 two 2nd second

6 six 6th sixth

7 seven 7th seventh

8 eight 8th eithth

9 nine 9th ninth

10 ten 10th tenth

說明：

1）1-12為基數詞中基本數詞；

2）序數詞1-3為特殊變化；

3）序數詞4-12在相應基數詞詞尾加-th構成。

注意：

fifth第五，ninth第九和twelfth第十二是特殊拼寫。

2.13-19

說明：

1）13-19基數詞在數詞3-9後加-teen構成。其中13，15發生拼寫變化。

2） 序數詞在基數詞後加-th構成。

29 twenty-nine 29th twenty-ninth

說明：

1）20-90整十位數,在基數詞2-9後面加後綴ty構成。其中20、30、40和50拼寫發生變化。

2）20-90整十位數的序數詞構成時，将相應基數詞詞尾-y變成i，再加-eth。

3） 十位數之間的數，由十位數加個位數構成，中間用連字符号。構成序數詞時，十位數用基數詞表示，個位數用序數詞表示。

4. 100-1,000,000
